The Place
The music began inside a working textile factory.
Before writing a melody, Masashi listened to the repeated motion of the weaving machines—their uneven accents, metallic resonance, and physical pulse.
The Sound
The machinery was not treated as background noise.
Its sound was sampled and brought into the composition as musical material.
Translation into Music
The pulse of the factory became part of the structure of the piece, connecting machinery, fabric, movement, and the human body.
The sound was not added as decoration. It became one of the reasons the music took the form it did.
The Film
The visual material was filmed inside the textile environment where the sound originated.
The completed work connects the place, the movement of the machines, the images, and the music as parts of one continuous experience.
